Turning birds into aliens
Original audio was recorded overnight to capture early morning birdsong. Kit was the Zoom F6 with twin condensor directional microphones. Everything was sealed in waterproof bags with silicon satchet to take away any moisture.
Processed back into Adobe Audition and Ableton Live. Simple time stretching, basic effects and some bass boosting was applied to make things a little more ‘horror’.
Some of it sounds like the Clangers! Hopefully you’re not too young to know who they are.
